Installed this light below a tiny Pygmy Palm tree, it lights it up perfect!!! So glad I selected this light, it looks like a tiny rock rather than a light. It also comes with the tiny wire connector box for twelve or 14 gauge very low voltage cabling. The issue I like the most about this light is the fact that you do not have to push it into the ground to anchor it. I set up this on my 150 ft run of twelve gauge cable plugged into a 600 Watt Malibu transformer. It just sits on the ground and you can push other rocks up around it to hold it in area. I just wish i had purchased more of these rather than the regular flood lights.

Please be recommended that this is NOT a solar light, even even though when you punch in “solar garden lights” it is listed. I returned

. It looks just like a rock and is loads vivid at 20 watts. The only issue is that you are going to be limited to the brilliant 20w illumination. I did cut off the connector and hard wired it into the landscape wire. Other than that, it operates fantastic. That was a bit significantly for my application, but I was not in a position to locate a 10w replacement bulb. This tiny rock light works fantastic

Converting Halogen Light Bulbs to LED’s?
I want to convert my lounge room & kitchen Halogen Lighting to LED lighting as its cheaper to run & the bulbs last a lot longer.
In total there is 17 MR16 12V down-lights, each with their own transformers.
The problem is I am quite sure with this type you have to replace the Transformers as-well as the bulbs? & can multiple LED’s be run of a single transformer?

First of all, DAMN, someone took you for a ride. You can run MANY lights off one transformer…I have no idea why you have so many. Hella Lighting makes nice, flush mount fixtures that are bedded in epoxy, I have installed them in a sailboat and have 19 on ONE circuit. LEDs put out a different temperature light though, be careful that you are okay with the change to the lighting.

Your energy costs should drop to near zero compared with what you are using now.

Each fixture contains four LEDs and consumes 0.5 watts. With 17, you are speaking about under 10 watts total. Frankly, the cheapest source of high quality DC power in that range is a personal laptop power supply. See eBay and ensure that they have CE and other ratings.
